this dude is more punk than you
Song is currently untitled but it’s going to be on one of our upcoming splits. Different compared to our demo songs because I (Raph) don’t play guitar on this one, I only do vocals. Anyway:
“Hands held above our heads, held out as far as they can stretch. I’m trying to hold on to clouds that are always outside my reach. I guess you didn’t notice- I fade with the setting sun. I’m no more alive than the empty home where I grew up.
I find my life is constantly swirling, cliche as it sounds, like leaves in the wind- twirling in unpredictable patterns until the wind slows down and stops again. But leaves crumble under foot and are commonly left to die in the sun- I find myself begging for drops of rain to grace me but I realize that there are none.
And when we planted that tree in your front yard, I remember thinking, “I wish I was still young.” I guess you didn’t notice- I fade with the setting sun.”
Let me/us know what you think. More stuff soon.
Hey!
So Old Gray is now a part of Red Rash Collective. It’s not a label but rather just a group of bands that help one another get shows, promotion, compilations, etc. Other rad bands like Dads and Braeburn are on it, so definitely check them / it out .

EDIT: ALSO, my new best friend Mick Tanglao is going to be working on some sweet album art for a future Old Gray release. Check out his tumblr here and get into it.

Hey everyone!
We (Cameron, Zane and I) played our first acoustic set on May 13th at the Acoustic Cafe in Derry, NH. Charlie watched. We had a very nice reaction from the crowd and everyone was very supportive. So thank you very much! The above photos are courtesy of Rhiannon Trajlinek, who runs the Acoustic Cafe with Peter McHugh. Check it out here:

Because of how successful this foray was, we may be recording and releasing some of our old songs redone as acoustic tracks in the near future.
Also, thank you very much to everyone who downloaded the demo or bought any merchandise. We have seen a ridiculous amount of support so far and are very pleased with how much progress we’ve made in such a short amount of time. One last thank you to Zak Ickes for recording us and being a great pal.

Hey everyone!
We just added a “Merch” tab for anyone who would like to order shirts/buttons/CDs.
CDs should be ready by the end of this week and we’ll have it up for free/pay-your-own-price download by then, too. In the mean time, we’d love help with shows!
